Spring is here (at least according to the calendar) and "Show Season" is beginning.   The first show on the list this year was done by the Eastern Pennsylvania Reining Horse Association.  It was called "No Foolin' Slide 1 & 2" at the Gloucester County Dream Park!

 

A small group took part wth Frani, Ty, Andrea and Linda arriving Thursday and Jim and Bill a bit later on Friday.  Jim took the faster route (Via Jet Blue) and Bill via Ford Escape!

If you haven't been there, the "Dream Park" is well set up, with trailers reasonably close to the barns and the barns very close to both the practice & show arenas!  Four horses made the trip:  Brake, Dually, Bucky and Charlie.

​

Andrea & Bucky won the Rookie Class.  Brake came in 3rd in Novice Horse and Dually and Frani tied for 3rd in one of the Non-Pro classes.  It was Linda and Charlie's first show and Linda is still talking about all she learned and what a great time it was!  Ty was invaluable getting the horses ready and providing expert advice to all the riders.

It was a great trip with the possibility of heading back to the same facility in early May (4th & 5th).  The only downside was driving home on Easter Sunday!  Ask Jim about his experience on the G.W. Bridge.
