Day 1:
It was quite a weekend at the show. It started out slow on Saturday with me getting a 2 point penalty. YIKES. Linda and Charlie got there first score and Sue and Cinch got a score in there first class of the year. Andrea and her horse Buckey had 2 great rides and Ty had a great ride on Brake marking a 70.
Day 2:
It was a great day, as we all improved by leaps and bounds with our trainer Ty making sure we were all on point. Sue and Cinch were the first to go starting the day with a solid 66 run. Next up was Linda and Charlie who’s ride marked a 66.5. Andrea and Buckey marked an impressive 69.5 in the rookie class and Sue and Cinch had an exceptional schooling run.
Novice horse class was next where Brake and I marked a 70 winning the nh2. Last class of the day for our group was the Non-Pro where Dually proved he can do it marking a 71 and winning the Masters and the Prime Time.
A special Thank you to Ty for helping make this happen. Can’t wait till our next show.

Exclusive Matt Mills
Reining Clinic here at Crystal Farm
Matt Mills is a nationally known reining horse trainer from Scottsdale, AZ where he trains / shows futurity and derby horses. Winner of the 2006 USEF Open Reining Championship in Lexington, KY, Matt was also a gold medal winner in the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany!
Matt is Ranked by the NRHA as one of its top 20 Professional Riders. "Known for his professionalism, showmanship and charismatic personality". Matt is in high demand and has run clinics in the US, Europe and Mexico.
Crystal Farm is proud that Matt chose Crystal Farm as the site for this August Clinic. This is a rare opportunity for this area of the country and there are a very limited number of slots available.
Cost: $250 for a one day clinic, or $400 for the 2 day clinic.
This includes:
8:30am - 11:30am Morning Clinic Time with Matt
11:30am - 12:30pm Lunch (Provided by Crystal Farm)
12:30pm - 3:30pm Afternoon Clinic Time with Matt
The public is welcome to audit/view this clinic at a cost of $25 per day or $40 for both days.
Reservations to audit this clinic MUST be made prior to August 12th, as there is a limited space.
A limited number of stalls are available for those non-boarders wishing to keep their horses at the farm overnight.
The fee is only $15. Advanced registration is required and you are required to bring your own hay/grain.
